Directions

Take a right out of the Liberia airport. Your rental car company could be on the other side of the road from the Airport. In that case, you will have to take a left out of the rental car lot.

Proceed on this road heading west for a number of kilometers until you cross a major bridge at the Tempisque River with an old bridge beside it; in seconds you will see the Do-It center. Do-It Center is a store like Lowes, you can’t miss it. Just before the Do-It Center, you will take a right the sign will say Papagayo.

Go a short distance may be 1 km and take the first blacktop road to the left, the signs will say Playa Panama. Go about seven or eight km and as you drop down out of the mountains to the beach you will see the grand entrance to EL Mangrove, take a left on the crossroads at the stop sign. Follow that road approximately 2.5km.

Follow this road to Playa Hermosa. The first thing you see as you enter Hermosa is a big gated resort on the right called Villa Sol The next hard surface road to the right is called the second beach road. Take a right on this road. Follow this road to the beach and take a right. Go about 75 meters and you will see Roberto’s sign and La Gaviota Tropical over the gate on the left.
